A closed system denitrification unit for use outside of the sump or aquarium. Can be used for freshwater or saltwater aquaria up to 400l. Supplied with sulphur beads and reducing T-piece 12/16 ? 4/6mm for creation of bypass. NB The use of this unit in freshwater will result in a gradual increase in total hardness and conductivity and in seawater will result in an increase in calcium level and a consequent decrease in carbonate hardness. In both cases frequent water changes are recommended to avoid these degradations. Please note: If redox measurement is required, the pressure resistant electrode (220.19) must be used.
