JBL Algol is a chemical compound that kills algae (algaecide). JBL Algol reliably removes slime,brown,green floating and spot algae with no ill effects on any aquarium inhabitants (fish and plants). You will start to see a difference in your aquarium after only a few daysand is an effective treatment without the use of harmfull copper which can have awfull side-effects on live stock. Use biocides safely by reading instructions and only ever dosing the stated ammount and by following the after treatment section in the instructions.
