 The LCD stick on external Thermometer is a great & cheap alternaive to a basic submersible glass thermometer as it looks more appealing to the eye and is more robust as opposed to being a brittle glass type, although i did find that in dim light it was very difficult to see what the temperature was.\n D Houghton
