Rowakalk is a calcium supplement for the improvement of your salt water quality, to ensure that the inhabitants of your reef system have sufficient calcium to build their shells and skeletons. Rowakalk contains 99.1% Purity Calcium Hydroxide. By dissolving Rowakalk in water, you will produce a solution rich in calcium, carbonate and hydroxide ions, which has an alkaline pH of 12.4. Rowakalk will also enhance your tanks pH levels and help to precipitate phosphates from the water.
