Seachem Prime is the most concentrated and effective de-chlorinator on the market. It has a very high efficiency and also contains a binder which removes ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Most products on the market only remove the chlorine but the unique properties of this, especially by removing ammonia makes your tap water truly safe for your fish.
If chlorine and ammonia bond they create a harmful acid called ammonia chloride which is lethal to fish. Seachem prime has gone a step further by not only getting rid of the chlorine but also removing the ammonia which completely eliminates any chance of your fish suffering.
Seachem Prime also contains a solution which will promote the protective natural slime coat of your fish and as it won't affect your aquariums pH. For marine aquariums you will also find that it will not cause your skimmer to over bubble allowed you to set it up more easily. Always use the product when you set up a new aquarium, add water of clean any product.
