Tetra Aquasafe

Tetra Aquasafe is one of the staple water conditioners in use today and was initially developed over 30 years ago with a four action process to make your tap water safe.

Tetra Aquasafe removes chlorine which is present in most of the UK's water supply. Chlorine bonds with a fish bi-product called ammonia to produce a deadly poison call ammonia chloride. Instead of using chemical methods of removing chlorine this product actually uses an organic colloidal ingredient which not only removes chlorine but also provides a protective layer for your fish to help safeguard against disease and infection. It also allows fish to heal quicker if they already have an associated infection.

Tetra Aquasafe also removes heavy metals such as copper lead and zinc which are common in UK water and contains naturally occurring hydrocolloids which protects the scales from bacterial infection. It also contains a natural vitamin B1 which helps reduce stress in fish which can occur during water changes, cleaning or when moving your fish.

A new feature added is a beneficial bacteria derived from a bioextract which aids the growth of good bacteria to help keep the aquarium clean and reduce ammonia and nitrite. It also contains natural nutrients and minerals such as iodine and magnesium which promote good health and growth in aquarium fish.

It is also been proven to be safe for marine and freshwater aquariums. This product is readily in stock and is one of the most requested products on offer. When making water changes to your aquarium it is recommend to make up the water in a barrel and let it sit to room temperature or boil some water to bring it up to temperature faster. Then add Tetra Aquasafe and shake vigorously to ensure it is thoroughly mixed in.
